Really Weird Phone Call

This morning at around 4:30am I received a call from a number 473-520-9762 which came up as unavailable. It rang twice then hung up. My being in the military I started assuming that someone was trying to get in touch with me from my unit.

I don't believe that was the case.

I've tried calling the number back and although the music is REALLY up my alley it just keeps stating "please wait for the operator".

Has anyone else received a call from this number?

I have no idea from what and to call at 4:30am is RIDICULOUS.

By the way, I've looked on the internet and some people have stated that the caller ID for them is from Grenada but that is all.

    I checked where the area code 473 is located. This might give you a clue as to who it was (unless, of course, it is a wrong number or a robo-call).

    Sounds like a scammy robo call. I got one like that, where they called me then put me on hold, and I was so curious I waited, and got some very rude guy yelling at me and trying to talk me into giving him my credit card info. Some people have a lot of nerve.

    the area code is Grenada but I still can't figure out WHY the call. oh well. as long as it doesn't wake me up again.... UGH

    My phone has settings to block calls certain hours that I can set. I can allow through certain numbers for emergencies. Worth taking a look on yours to see if you have that optionSmile

    I actually just got 2 calls the past half hour... the first one didn't give me ANY number (I didn't answer), and the 2nd call was from 473-520-9762, but it just rang once and hung up. No messages from either call, so I decided to check online to see if there was any information about who might have called. *shrugging shoulders* I'm not planning to answer the cell phone anytime soon from this number.
